This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS degree or equivalent experience
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Expertise in Java/J2EE development
Experience supporting production platforms and extensive experience in providing solutions involving software and infrastructure engineering skills for metrics and event collection/correlation across distributed architectures, automation, monitoring, intelligent alerting, random fault injection (Chaos Engineering), and self-healing
Demonstrated and strong hands on experience designing platforms leveraging MQ and Kafka
Working knowledge of network protocols and experience tuning high volume applications
Expertise in resiliency, stability and supportability concepts and patterns such as such as Bulk Heading and Circuit Breaking
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes and ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
