The Senior Developer performs medium complexity (i.e. application modules) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.
Java Developer for Software Development:
- Perform development required to implement Client Mortgage Fraud Dept. requirements to automate the creation of a suspected fraud report and automate delivery to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
- Able to quickly pickup existing processes and procedures to develop, test and deploy application code in development environment.
Qualifications:
- Ten or more years’ experience in developing and maintaining Java software. Development experience of at least 8 years must be within the most recent 10 year period
- Expertise in Application Development with knowledge of full software development life cycle.
- Strong knowledge and use of development methodologies, standards and procedures in a software development setup
- Ability to efficiently implement, test and deploy application code in development environment
- Understanding of Database architectures. Understanding of change management
- Skills should include working with tools such as Rational Clear Case and Clear Quest.
- Experience of working in Unix environment, with hands-on experience with Unix shell scripts
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Optional Skills:
- Prior experience in developing and supporting software for Mortgage industry or related to fraud/ anti money laundering.
