Java/J2EE Developer (35 Hours per Week)

SCOPE OF SERVICES:
Under the supervision of the PM and Technical Lead, the Java
Developer will be responsible for:
Develop all Java/J2EE components to meet business requirements and
in accordance with industry best practices, standards, and security policies.
Provide technical expertise, estimates, and recommendations to the
Development Lead and project management.
Participate in the development of system design.
Develop presentation layer components.
Communicate risks and issues to the Development Lead.
Participate in requirements discussions and meetings as necessary
Conduct Unit Testing, supporting Quality Assurance, and coordination of defect
Assist in documenting technical risks and issues, and actively work
to avoid/mitigate/resolve those risks.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development
building large-scale enterprise web applications; Extensive experience with
Framework(s) along with ORM components; Strong Experience in MVC
and using other design patterns; Strong knowledge of data integration
technologies and processes; Experience with formal SDLCs and development
methodologies; Experience with Oracle WebLogic 10.x or similar application
server; Solid experience using integrated development environments (i.e. Visual
Studio, Eclipse IDE, Jetbrains IntelliJ, etc.); Experience in Service Oriented
Architecture and Web Service development; Solid understanding of principles of
SOAP and REST-based web services; Experience with relational databases such as
associated frameworks; Strong knowledge of XML, XML Schema, XSD and XSLT/Path
as well as JSON; Solid experience with version control systems (i.e. TFS, Git,
Subversion, CVS, etc.); Experience with application build tools (i.e. Ant,
Maven, Gradle, etc.); Experience with testing tools and techniques such as
JUnit/NUnit, Selenium; Experience with Continuous Integration systems (i.e.
Jetbrains TeamCity, Jenkins, TravisCI, etc.); Knowledge of secure coding standards
and best practices; Must be able to see tasks through to completion without
significant guidance; Must be a team player who works well with technical and
non-technical resources; Must be able to provide documentation on their work;
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly
articulate to all project members and stakeholders; A Bachelors or Masters
degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is desired.
3 or more years of hands-on experience in Customer Identity and
Access Management platforms (i.e. Gigya, NetIQ, Janrain, etc.); Strong
knowledge of SAML and OAuth specifications; Hands-on experience
developing/configuring common Single Sign-On (SSO) workflows (i.e.
Login/Logout, Change Password, Forgot Password, etc.); Experience navigating
standard project tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint This
